Editorial policy
These are the rules the Cuánto Le Cobro editorial team writes by.
Where the numbers come from
- Quotes use the numbers typed by whoever uses the calculator.
- Every number that is not the user’s (a yield, a wage, a rate) comes from a primary source cited with its address and the day we read it.
- If there is no primary source, the number is left out and the page says so.
Authorship and review
Pages are signed by the editorial team, not a person. Each guide and each data page shows the date of its last review and links to its sources. We review a page again when one of its sources changes and each time BLS publishes a new edition of its wage estimates.
Corrections
If something is wrong we fix the page and change its review date. Write to hola@cuantolecobro.com.
Ads and commercial links
Today the site shows no ads and no affiliate links. If we add them one day, they will be labeled as such and will not change any calculation.
